On your next trip to your local gardening centre, keep an eye out for spring flowering bulbs and in the meantime lift and store what you already have.
It’s not too late to plant perennials and roses but at this time of year it’s important to keep them well watered.
Get sowing: cyclamens, petunias, chrysanthemums, marigolds, violas, pansies, polyanthus and dahlias.
